Fantastic watch and I cried like a baby

December 2014 I lost my mate to cancer...he was only 38 and had three young kids, everything to live for

Just shows what a fantastic man Bobby was

Quite sad how it all ended at West Ham for him.

Superb film though and loved the way he played, none of this hoofing into the stand bollocks.

Am I the only one who first sees those 6s as esses rather than bs?

Of course, at a second glance they become bs.

Was going to buy the DVD on Amazon earlier in the week and there was a 2 week dispatch time, decided to leave it a few days. Just been back on Amazon and there is now a 1-2 month dispatch time! Blu Ray however is next day delivery.

Agreed.

BTW I grabbed my copy as Sainsbury yesterday and a few mates are now asking where they can get it. Seems to be a lot of interest and not just Hammers fans. Does it matter where you buy the DVD re proceeds to the Bobby Moore Fund or is one place better than another regarding proceed percentage?

zico.... agree to a certain extent regarding the owners... I just feel that NO profit should be made on his name... ALL profit from the BM6 merchandise should go to the BM fund... that would be a proper gesture... 10% is not much of a gesture...

Watched the DVD tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it but at the same time was saddened. A really well put together film.

Says a lot about the man that Tina and his daughter seem to show no ill feeling with regard to his split with Tina. Very sad though that his son Dean also passed very young. Must be incredibly difficult for kids with extremely famous parents.

Northern Sold 2:09 Thu Jun 2. I agree that all the Bobby Moore stuff should be non profit and all proceeds should go to the charity. At the same time I think it's difficult for the current owners because they obviously didn't own the Club when Bobby was alive and if they didn't acknowledge him now people would criticise them for it, so they are a little stuck between a rock and a hard place.

If Bobby hadn't become ill it would have been interesting to see if Harry would have offered him a job at West Ham when Harry became manager. Something odd must have happened earlier though. I know Greenwood and Bobby's relationship was strained but as far as I know John Lyall respected Bobby an awful lot so it's a tad strange he didn't make room for him at the Club. Maybe he was seen as a threat but at the same time I don't see John Lyall as that type of person. Will never know the reasons possibly.

Interested to hear from Gazza that he was a Hammers fan as a kid at the end. That's one player I would have loved to see in the claret and blue!

Never a truer word said.
Beautiful film.
Thanks to all concerned...Matt Lorrenzo..I salute you.
Jonathan Pierce chocked me up..very emotional.
I was in the North Bank that first home game after he passed vs Wolves.
Credit to their support that day..superb.

...and will say this...for all the modern English footballers wealth...you ain't no Bobby Moore!
Make me sad thinking about it..capital radio commentary..

As has been said a well made documentary on Bobbys life.As to him not being honoured by the club and England somebody out there must know the real reason.I was lucky enough to have been around to follow his whole career and without doubt he was the best defender there has ever been.

Staffs... yeah it grates me that the club now name stands after him and have all the BM6 merchandise in his name .... yeah I know a piddly 10% of it goes to the BM fund but in my eyes no profit should be made on his name... all the money made on that merchandise should be towards his charity

DVD came today and I've just watched it.

Fantastic. A really good watch. Very emotional but very well done.

I'm of a generation that doesn't remember him play (one if many now) but if you ever wanted to know how much of a legend the man was and why, then watch that.

As has been said many times since his death, it's nothing short of a scandal that West Ham and England never gave him a major role after he gave up playing.
